Dragonet

This head shot is of a type of dragonet I created for a story. They are called Dream Dragons. These little critters are smaller than a falcon. They are extreemly intelligent and upon reaching adolesance can bond to a person. They also bond to their mates and they mate for life. If their mate or their 'pet', as the dragonets call the people they bond to, dies they too will die not long after.

Dream Dragons get thier name from their ability to enduce sleep and even effect dreams. The will touch their heads to a person or perhaps their offspring and feelings of calm and happyness wash over them. In their sleep, a person who is the target of one of these creatures will be given plesant dreams as constructed by their own minds.
